AlertSite Adds Atlanta to Its Global Monitoring Network

Expansion Improves Precision and Speed of Regional Web Site Performance Monitoring

COCONUT CREEK, Fla., March 20 -- AlertSite, a leading provider of Web performance measurement, systems monitoring and security vulnerability scanning services, today announced the addition of Atlanta to its global monitoring network. This expansion extends AlertSite's ability to assist customers in responding accurately and quickly to potential network performance problems that may impact specific regional locations. It also increases the number of AlertSite monitoring locations to 20, bringing AlertSite within reach of its growth target of 25 locations throughout the world.

AlertSite insures its customers' Web-based services are always available and running at peak performance by assessing site vulnerabilities, monitoring uptime, load time and key site applications, as well as providing immediate notification about any performance issues. Tracking these performance metrics from multiple locations increases the accuracy with which AlertSite can identify problems with Web site functionality and subsequently pinpoint whether they are unique to one customer or symptomatic of a larger issue across a specific geographic region.

"The addition of Atlanta as our 20th monitoring location is a significant milestone for AlertSite and our customers," said Ken Gross, president and CEO of AlertSite. "We continue to grow our global monitoring network and we're close to meeting our goal of 25 monitoring locations. Each new site significantly increases our ability to monitor, understand and diagnose core server and application connectivity issues throughout the global network."

In addition to serving as a performance monitoring location, Atlanta will also function as an AlertSite disaster recovery facility and backup site for customer data. This new location complements AlertSite's existing monitoring stations in Boca Raton, Fla.; Chicago; Dallas; New York City; Washington, D.C.; Seattle; San Diego; Fremont, Calif.; Canada; the United Kingdom; Spain; Germany; Hong Kong and Shanghai, China; Singapore and Australia.
