Application Sales/Support Specialist

Responsibilities will include:

  • Becoming a product specialist
  • Educating potential customers about Web site monitoring and Internet security, and the value of AlertSite's products and services
  • Articulating and differentiating product features in a competitive marketplace
  • Up-selling the appropriate AlertSite® solution
  • Overcoming technical and business objections
  • Becoming an expert on the Web performance monitoring and security scanning market
  • Meeting monthly goals and contributing to team success

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in technical support and customer service, ideally with a major commercial software applications vendor
  • Minimum 2 years experience in inside sales via telephone
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong computer applications skills (Windows, Open Office or MS Office, Internet applications and solutions)
  • Solid understanding of networking and hosted Web-based solutions
  • Ability to calculate figures, multi-task, and solve problems
