Alertsite Achieves Record Third Quarter 2005 Results

AlertSite Expands Global Monitoring Network with New Locations in China, India and the US

COCONUT CREEK, FL - October 10, 2005 - AlertSite, a leading provider of web performance measurement, systems monitoring and security vulnerability scanning products and services, today announced record sales for Q3 2005, up more than 76 percent over the same quarter last year and an increase of more than 15.9 percent from the previous quarter. AlertSite has also expanded its global monitoring network with new locations in mainland China; Mumbai, India; Phoenix, Ariz.; and Cincinnati, Ohio. The global monitoring network supports 1,500 enterprise customers and over 5,000 URLs worldwide.

"As a result of our outstanding third quarter performance, we achieved our highest revenue quarter for this year," said Ken Gross, president and CEO of AlertSite. "We now have 19 monitoring facilities worldwide and we are on target for 20 by the end of the year. Furthermore, we grew our customer base with 136 new wins extending across many vertical industries as organizations recognize the need for their critical web-based services to always be available, secure and running at peak performance."

In addition to strong financial performance and new facilities, AlertSite also achieved a number of milestones and operating highlights during the third quarter of 2005:

  • In July 2005, AlertSite strengthened its executive management team with the addition of Joel Richardson as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Richardson oversees AlertSite's day-to-day financial strategy and management and takes an active role in making sure that the company continues its focus on profitability.
  • In August 2005, AlertSite announced that top entertainment, retail and travel sites proved successful in handling customer demands during the 2005 summer season. AlertSite's Entertainment, Travel, and Retail (ETR) report, made up of 24 sites closely monitored through June and July, highlighted near perfect performance averages - a true indicator that companies are investing in their technology infrastructure to ensure their web sites are up and running 24/7 and delivering a superior customer service experience.
  • In September 2005, AlertSite achieved certification through the Mastercard Site Data Protection Program (SDP) to help online merchants control credit card fraud. AlertSite's Security Vulnerability Scan is now certified to evaluate the security of IT systems that store cardholder account information and help online retailers ensure they are Payment Card Industry (PCI) complaint. AlertSite's customer base has seen an increase within the retail industry as customers are looking to become PCI compliant.
